Na noite deste domingo foram revelados os vencedores do Critics Choice Awards 2021, que premia os melhores filmes e seriados segundo os críticos. Apesar de não ser um termômetro do Oscar, a premiação funciona como uma espécie de “rascunho” do que poderá ser visto na cerimonia citada e no Emmy.

Apesar de várias vitórias serem idênticas ao Globo de Ouro, não sei se podemos dizer que o mesmo poderá ocorrer nas outras premiações (como nenhum destes votantes são membros da Academia). As únicas exceções foram as vitórias de “Palm Springs” como melhor filme de comédia e Carey Mulligan como melhor atriz em cinema, por “Bela Vingança“. A grande homenageada da noite foi Zendaya, que venceu o prêmio Seeher.
